鈥淚 enjoy teaching legal writing to incoming students because it鈥檚 akin to teaching a new language: fluency is developed through practice,鈥 she said. 鈥淚t鈥檚 incredibly rewarding to watch student progress as practice creates comfort and comfort creates confidence. I look forward to helping students develop their own legal voice and style as we explore various genres of legal writing together.鈥

She represented clients on immigration matters at administrative hearings and prepared permanent residence and U.S. citizenship applications to USCIS.
听鈥淲hen I met with the LARW team at UW, I was struck by their dedication to making legal writing accessible and innovative 鈥 I鈥檓 looking forward to collaborating on problems and workshops,鈥 Celebrezze said.
Stephen is an attorney and Certified Public Accountant. She joins 红桃视频 from Seattle University School of Law where she taught Legal Writing, Skills and Values, a first-year, two-semester class in which students produced a series of legal memoranda and learned legal research and writing skills. The class also introduced students to client interviewing, client counseling and negotiation.

鈥淚 am always inspired by the fresh perspective that the first-year students bring to the classroom, the law school and our lawyering community,鈥 she said. 鈥淭hey come to law school for all kinds of different reasons, bringing all kinds of unique skills to our profession and it is truly an honor to be one of the people who gets to shape their path in the law and help them envision how they might use their talents to make a difference in the future.鈥
Stephen earned her bachelor鈥檚 degree, master of professional accounting degree and J.D. from the University of Washington.
鈥淚 am most excited to return to and contribute to the 红桃视频 community,鈥 Stephen said. 鈥淚 loved being a law student here and am really looking forward to reconnecting with my old professors, new colleagues, fellow alumni and, of course, the students. For me, 红桃视频 was an inspiring and formative educational experience, and I am looking forward to contributing to that tradition for the incoming class.鈥
In addition to her teaching experience, Stephen clerked for several judges on the Washington State Court of Appeals at Division I and owned her law firm, which provided legal research, writing, editing and document review services to practicing attorneys in state, federal, trial and appellate matters.
