The ������Ƶ is proud to honor the class of 1972 as they celebrate their 50-year reunion. The graduates join the school’s Golden Alumni, which recognizes these alumni for their long legacy of achievement and impact.

“It is hard to believe that it has been 50 years since we graduated from law school,” said Nicolas Corning, who gave the class toast during a special reception at William H. Gates Hall on Sept. 16. “I’d like to offer a special prayer for the families of those alumni we have lost and our best wishes to those who could not join us for the celebration. To my old and new friends, may your next 50 years be full of joy, laughter and good health.”

Classmates enjoyed the opportunity to connect with each other and the school, said Alumnus James (Jim) Dickens.

“They identified themselves (yes, there were some changes in how we looked), told stories from 50 years ago and shared experiences thereafter,” Dickens said. “The 1972 classmates were very impressed both with the new dean and the new law school building. As one attorney commented, the 50th Year Reunion was everything he had hoped it would be."
