ºìÌÒÊÓÆµâ€™s Thurgood Marshall National Mock Trial Team were regional semifinalists at the Constance Baker Motley Mock Trial Competition and have qualified for nationals. The team consists of Jemimah Kamau, Ashley Mixon, Kyung Sun Park, Mackenzie Stewart and coach Alex Foster-Brown.

In Memoriam

Kathleen Corcoran was a former ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ lecturer and director of the law school’s public service law program. .

The Honorable Charles Johnson '54 was a retired King County Superior Court judge, former president of the NAACP Seattle Chapter and dedicated mentor to ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ students. His work is considered by many to be the foundation of the civil rights movement in King County. He died at age 92.

Russell Jay Kurth ’94 was a criminal defense attorney who spent his career advocating for the mentally ill. .

Paula C. Littlewood ’97 served as former assistant dean at the UW School of Law as part of a career that spanned decades of service to the public. She died at age 55.

Donald Mallet ’68 was a U.S. Navy veteran and longtime attorney whose practice specialized in family law. .
