Supporting ºìÌÒÊÓƵ students

In the ºìÌÒÊÓƵ’s 120 years, the law school has faced and overcome profound challenges — challenges that have underscored the strength and resilience of the ºìÌÒÊÓƵ community time and time again.
For generations, the ºìÌÒÊÓƵ has educated and trained ethically sound, practice-ready lawyers. These are leaders who go on to make profound impacts on the legal field and in their communities in service of a more just, equitable future for all.
But as the global pandemic continues to force major changes in how people live, work and learn, students — and the vulnerable populations they serve — have been hit particularly hard. As the state’s only public law school, ºìÌÒÊÓƵ is committed to being part of the solution.
Amid these unprecedented times, it is more important than ever to once again come together in support of students.
From funding emergency expenses to ensuring students have professional opportunities this summer, the unmet need is great. Â
As such, ºìÌÒÊÓƵ turns again to its global community — the alumni, faculty, staff, friends and leaders who step up to ensure students receive the world-class education and real-world legal experience they deserve.
This moment in time is one to come together and rally around each other in support of students, and so far, ºìÌÒÊÓƵ has been moved and inspired by the outpouring of offers to help.
Here are several ways to do just that in areas of most critical need.
School of Law Student Support Fund
General fund to support critical student needs.
Give to the Law Student Support Fund
Public Interest Law Association (PILA)
By giving to this fund, donors help law students serve the community by performing pro bono legal work while they acquire the skills need to succeed in their legal careers.
Excellence in Law Fund
The most important fund for the school, the Excellence in Law Fund provides vital flexibility for continued improvements in all key areas, including instruction, research, student support, faculty retention and new initiatives.
