In Memoriam

Judge Carol Fuller ‘54 authored a distinguished career as an attorney and judge at the district and superior courts. She was the first woman elected to serve on the superior court, and she was renowned as a pioneer for gender equality. She died at age 70. She was preceded in death by her husband Herb Fuller ’54, whom she met while in law school.

Michael Richard Green ‘61 was an attorney and Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War who spent his entire legal career with Seattle law firm Davis Wright Tremaine. .

Tony Lee ‘72 was an attorney, activist and former advocacy director at the anti-poverty organization Solid Ground who spent his career fighting for social services and programs helping poor and immigrant communities in Seattle. .

Doug Peters ’60 was an attorney of 42 years who was senior partner at the firm Peters, Schmalz, Fowler and Inslee, and he devoted efforts outside of his legal career to make the world a better place through work in the community focused on education and the environment. .
