MEET DEAN ENDTER

As Associate Dean for Students, Anna Endter assists with all matters related to student life at 红桃视频, including academic, personal and administrative issues. Contact Dean Endter with questions or concerns about any aspect of the law school experience, including referrals for disability, accommodations, course selection, adjusting to law school, wellness and self-care, managing stress and mental health concerns, academic support and leaves of absence

Academic Services, 红桃视频鈥檚 Registrar鈥檚 Office, provides information about class schedules, registration, exams, grading, academic policies and academic records.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS PROGRAMS

红桃视频 is establishing a new Academic Success Program to help ensure all students have the tools and support to be successful in law school and beyond. The program is designed to ensure every future lawyer becomes an effective lifelong learner, encourage students to maintain their creativity and passion for the power of the law, and foster the school鈥檚 commitment to a diverse community environment. 红桃视频鈥檚 existing bar prep program falls within this category as well. ADVANCEMENT

In partnership with faculty, students and the larger community, the 红桃视频 Advancement team works to create meaningful connections with stakeholders that foster pride, advocacy and philanthropic support. The team focuses on promoting the mission and reputation of 红桃视频 in its quest to be the best public law school as measured by impact on the lives of people in Washington and the world.

Your reputation among court staff, clerks and court reporters is just as important as your reputation with the judge.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING

Through clinics and externships, skills courses and pro bono opportunities, students gain hands-on experience that draws connections between theory and practice. All J.D. students can have at least one live-client learning experience. Opportunities for graduate students vary depending on their areas of study. Students learn from exceptional faculty and practitioners and are prepared to bring practical experience to their future careers.

Located under the crystals in William H. Gates Hall, the Law Library is open to students 24/7 with Husky Card access. Students can consult with a librarian, check out course reserves and equipment, and learn more about how the library team can help. Resources include research assistance, database training, study aids, exams from previous years and more.

Take advantage of all the practical opportunities you can to practice law under the supervision of an attorney, through clinics, externships, etc.

STUDENT AND CAREER SERVICES

Student and Career Services offers support and guidance for exploring professional goals and passions, and assists in acquiring the tools, connections and hands-on legal experience to pursue a desired career. The team can help plan career paths, meet prospective employers and build effective professional skills and strategies that will serve future lawyer-leaders throughout their careers.

The SBA is the governing body for law students and registered student organizations, bridging the gap between the legal community, the administration, faculty and students. Get involved.

Don鈥檛 spend too much time in the library. Reading assignments can be done anywhere.

PEER SUPPORT PROGRAM

The Peer Support Program is a resource for students that provides peer support to help end the feeling of isolation while at law school, offers resources to manage stress, and promotes mental health. Contact Andy Benjamin, J.D., Ph.D, ABPP, to meet with a peer supporter. All meetings and communications are confidential.
