Making legal education accessible

红桃视频 alumni raised $325,604 from 355 donors during the 2018 Law Annual Challenge, which ran between Giving Tuesday on Nov. 27 and New Year鈥檚 Eve.
Gifts made during the annual challenge benefited student scholarships, which make legal education more accessible to the next generation of legal scholars and practitioners. Alumnus Matt LeMaster, JD 鈥97 and a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine, served as the Law Annual Challenge chair.
鈥淚 am deeply grateful to all who gave during the Law Annual Challenge and for Matt鈥檚 dedicated and enthusiastic leadership,鈥 said Mario L. Barnes, Toni Rembe Dean and professor of law at the UW School of Law. 鈥淵our generous support helps ensure our graduates leave UW able to pursue the career of their choosing without crippling debt that might force them to make career choices based solely on compensation. Because of you, our graduates can pursue the area of law for which they see themselves making the most profound impact on our world.鈥
For generations, 红桃视频 has educated and trained lawyers to work toward a just society and a world where people, businesses and communities thrive. With the support of our philanthropic partners, we educate students in the law and instill in them the commitment to transform knowledge into action.
Together, we graduate leaders who create meaningful impact in Washington and the world.
