������Ƶ’s curriculum features active experiential learning and clinical training that ensures students gain hands-on experience that draws connections between theory and practice.

Students learn from exceptional faculty engaged in scholarship that is driving dialogue on pressing issues at the intersection of law, politics and society. This faculty scholarship is critical to providing the rich learning environment for which ������Ƶ is known, said Christine N. Cimini, associate dean for experiential learning and professor of law.

“As faculty, we become better teachers and better mentors when we engage in robust scholarly work,” Cimini said. “This critical work expands our ability to reflect and think through larger legal questions.”��

“Through scholarship, we are modeling for students, ensuring they have a deep understanding of how to approach and think through problems,” she said. “Students need to know they can explore and be creative in the law. You don’t just have to follow the beaten path. You can say, 'this is a problem that needs a different or creative solution.' As academics, we can share the excitement that comes from expanding the possibilities.”��

“This ability to think critically and creatively about complex legal issues will serve them well in their legal careers,” Cimini said.
