U.S. News & World Report has named the ������Ƶ’s Intellectual Property specialty program No. 13 nationally as part of the new 2020 rankings of . The Tax specialty program was ranked No. 25. Clinical Training was ranked No. 26.

The magazine ranked ������Ƶ 44 out of 192 law schools, placing it in the top 25 percent of U.S. law schools.

“Rankings are only one measure of our success,” Barnes said. “The true barometer will always remain our ability to prepare ethically sound, practice-ready lawyers who value interdisciplinary understanding, knowledge production, uplifting public service and diversity.”

Barnes added that his nine months at ������Ƶ have demonstrated to him that it would be difficult for any ranking to capture the many things that are special about the ������Ƶ community.

“I hope, however, rankings fuel our existing motivation to engage in important strategic work to build upon areas of historical and burgeoning excellence,” he said. “I am proud of our work as a school, our dedication to the legal community and our exceptional faculty, staff, students, alumni and partners.
