125 Years of ºìÌÒÊÓƵ and 100 Years of Washington Law Review
Washington Law Review’s most recent edition includes an article by ºìÌÒÊÓƵ Professor Hugh Spitzer that examines the topics of all lead articles during the past century.
Celebrating the 125th academic year of UW School of Law!
For over a century, ºìÌÒÊÓƵ has been a pillar of excellence and leadership in law. From pioneering centers of innovation to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, our legacy is one of forward-thinking leadership and global impact. Our alumni have shaped the legal landscape as trial and appellate lawyers, transactional lawyers, elected officials, in-house counsel, business leaders, entrepreneurs, public interest advocates, policymakers, professors and judges.
We were honored to connect with all of you at this gala.
As we honor our past and celebrate who we are today, we are also launching our next 125 years. In recognition of supporting our students, we are excited to announce an expanded loan forgiveness program — our commitment to ensuring the next generation of lawyers can serve without limits. Consider this: in 1900, a ºìÌÒÊÓƵ education cost just $10 per quarter. Today, that number is nearly $15,000. This initiative is a commitment to the future of the legal profession and a bridge in support of public service and rural legal deserts.
