Before joining ºìÌÒÊÓƵ as a Senior Career Counselor in the Center for Career Development, George was a trial attorney for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the federal agency charged with enforcing the Civil Rights Act. In that role, George helped investigate and prosecute employers that discriminate on the basis of race, sex, gender, national origin, religion, and disability. Prior to working at the EEOC, George served as a law clerk in a federal district court, helping judges throughout the district solve some of the most challenging cases on their dockets. Before clerking, George worked at two large regional law firms as a commercial litigator.

George earned both his B.A. in Political Science and his J.D. at the University of Houston, where he also served as an articles editor for the Houston Law Review. He was an avid moot court and mock trial competitor and hosted intramural tournaments to help other law students hone their oral advocacy skills.

In his free time, George enjoys hiking, climbing, and perfecting his breakfast taco recipe.
