Summer Institute in Transnational Law & Practice Registration & Information

The 2025 Transnational Institute (Sept. 2–12) will be offered as a combination of asynchronous recorded lectures online and daily synchronous (real-time) classes, which will be held 4–7 p.m., Pacific time. To accommodate participants around the world as well as those on campus the live sessions will be offered virtually as well as concurrently on campus subject to public health guidance.

Tuition and Fees

The fee for the 2025 Transnational Summer Institute is $1800. A non-refundable $100 deposit paid at time of registration. Tuition balance of $1800 may be paid at time of registration or no later than Sept. 1, 2025.

Visas & Accommodations

Institute registrants continuing on to a program of study within the ºìÌÒÊÓÆµ may use their student visas.

Visiting Scholars at the law school may use their scholar visa.

All other participants should enter the U.S. on a Business Visitor visa (B-1) since the Institute program is not a certificate/degree program but rather a two-week educational conference. More information about the Business-Related B-1 visitor visa is available through the . We will be happy to provide you with a formal letter of invitation to facilitate the visa process.
